Installed at the inlet port of the vacuum pump, it can prevent the pump chamber from sucking powder. So it can reduce mechanical wear of the pump and contamination of the vacuum pump oil.

2. Are the dimensions of stainless steel housing and carbon steel housing the same?

Yes, they are just made of different materials, but have the same size and even the same weight.

3.Is the filter element inside also made of carbon steel or stainless steel?

No, it isn’t. We provide three media: wood paper, polyester and stainless steel. Customers usually choose wood pulp paper or polyester, and their price difference is not significant. They can both be used below 100℃, but the polyester filter element can prevent moisture. Stainless steel filter element is mainly used in high temperature (﹤200℃) or slightly corrosive working conditions.

4.Is the stainless steel filter element made of stainless steel 304 or stainless steel 316L?

The housing and filter element of stainless steel are generally made of stainless steel 304, unless the customer requests stainless steel 316L. Stainless steel 316L is more corrosion-resistant. If the customer purchases a 316L stainless steel housing, the filter element should also be made of the same material. Anyway, we will confirm with the customer.
