The famous entrepreneur and philosopher Mr. Kazuo Inamori once said in his book "The Art of Life" that "altruism is the origin of business" and "a true businessmen should pursue win-win". LVGE has been implementing this creed, thinking about what customers think, and putting solving customers' problems first.
A few days ago, our sales staff received an inquiry about vacuum pump inlet filters. The customer said that the filtration efficiency of inlet filter he purchased before was poor. And he find us when he research for other suppliers. He looked at our products and qualifications and thought we were great. Then he wanted to order an inlet filter from us. Our sales staff recommended suitable products based on the information provided by the customer. But in the end, the customer sent us a photo of the site for reference, and we found that he installed the filter wrong.

Some customers who are not familiar with filters and are not directly engaged in the vacuum industry often confuse the inlet and outlet ports. As shown in the picture, this customer got the two reversed. So now we label some filters or indicate them in the drawings to avoid confusion. Back to the case, the wrong installation was the reason why the filter did not work properly, but the customer did not realize it. As long as we don't point it out, we can close an order; if we tell the customer, the time we spend will be wasted. Actually, we told the customer the truth without much thought and suggested that him correctly installed filter and tested. After the filter was correctly installed, it began to filter normally. The customer was very grateful to us. Not only did we help him solve the problem, but we also saved him a sum of money.
Later, the general manager praised this matter at the meeting. The general manager said that this is a manifestation of our altruism. Although we lost an order, we gained a trust. “A gentleman makes money in a right way.” We did not choose to conceal it and then take the opportunity to sell our filters; it is right. In business operations, companies that go far and steady often have an altruistic heart and pursue win-win results. Companies that are greedy for temporary petty profits and exhaust all resources for the sake of profit are doomed to fail in the long run.
