1.Is the filter material of the oil filter made of stainless steel?

Not, the filter material of our oil filter is Ahlstrom wood pulp paper. It has high filtration efficiency, high pollution carrying capacity, and low dropout. What you are referring to should be the internal metal mesh, which is mainly used for fixing and supporting the filter paper.

2.Is the filter paper of the oil filter the same as the one of the oil mist filter?

Not, the filter material of the former is wood pulp paper, and the one of the latter is glass fiber filter paper.

3.Isn't the filtration efficiency of wood pulp paper for 2 micron dust particles up to 99%?

The filtration efficiency you refer to is the efficiency of the intake filter with wood pulp paper as the filter material. Although the filter material of the oil filter is also made of wood pulp paper, their specifications are different. If the oil filter uses high-precision wood pulp paper, it can indeed filter out smaller particles, but it will also make it difficult for the vacuum pump oil to pass. Ensuring the supply of the vacuum pump oil, our oil filter are sufficient to filter out most of the impurities in the oil.

4.What are the consequences of delayed vacuum pump oil supply?

Vacuum pump oil mainly plays a role in lubrication and sealing. If the supply of it is insufficient, on the one hand, the sealing performance will decrease, thus affecting the vacuum degree. On the other hand, due to a lack of sufficient lubrication, the components inside of the vacuum pump may be severely worn.
